LASLO joined the Lackawanna Ambulance Team in 2008.
A conceptual design hailing from our Human Resources Department, LASLO took shape in a few short months and has since been an undeniable Public Relations Resource.
LASLO was named by, the then, 3rd grade class at Mid-Valley Elementary School. The students were one of dozen of groups, and hundreds of children, who submitted entries to name our new Mascot and were chosen, by company-wide vote, as the winners of our "Name the Mascot" contest. A pizza party was held for their class, in which LASLO appeared for the first time as the newest respresentative of Lackawanna Ambulance.
Since then, LASLO has participated in dozens of events - including parades, parties, nursing home events, local festivals, promotional events and countless media events! He has proven to be a great addition to our Team and we continue to be very proud of his many accomplishments.
